History
Multiform’s 35-year history
Multiform has existed since 1987, and has grown over the years to become a household name in the world of cut-to-size wood fibre boards.
The company was founded
Désiré Vereecke incorporated the firm Vereecke, service provider for the chipboard industry. He set up the company in Oostnieuwkerke (near Roeselare).

Second generation
Rudi Vereecke, son of Désiré Vereecke, took over Vereecke NV.
Interior
Interior products were added to the company’s range and a name change was imminent. The firm continued to grow under its new company name Multiform.
Move to Menen
Multiform was expanding and moved from Oostnieuwkerke to a new building on the industrial estate in Menen. From then on, the company focused entirely on supplying panels.

Expansion
The warehouse in Menen was expanded to 4,500 m².
Wielsbeke
Takeover and relaunch of Linopan in Wielsbeke. From then on, Multiform was also able to handle larger volumes and a wider range of finished products.


Dekapan
Acquisition of the product range and machinery of the Dutch company Dekapan.
Estaimpuis
Construction began in Estaimpuis with the installation of Dekapan’s machinery.
Factory start-up in Estampuis
Multiform inaugurated the new factory in Estampuis and recruited seven new employees from the region. It expanded its fleet of machinery with a finishing machine for mezzanine floors, a saw for small series production and a profiling machine for tongue and groove work. This gave Multiform the capacity to handle five full trucks from one location per day.


Machinery expansion
Continuously innovating, Multiform expanded its fleet of machinery to include a versatile edgebander.
