How do you apply the Crosslink?
Multiform is a company that processes wooden sheet material into products for applications in the construction, interior design and packaging sectors. Within the 5×5 project, the question arose as to which finished products could be produced with their machinery.
This led to the development of Crosslink: a simple “panel puzzle” that gains stability by sliding the pieces together. Only a few screws are needed to fix the parts in place. Floors, walls or shelves can be assembled in no time at all — and just as quickly converted back into a flat pack.
The composition, thickness and finish of the panels are chosen depending on the application. The open structure makes the connections visible and creates a clear, constructive interplay of lines that is typical and recognisable for Crosslink.
